Vacation Rental Management FAQ
Investing in a vacation property can be a daunting prospect, but we at Panama City Beach Luxury Properties know we can help you out with that. Good property management companies are willing to help however they can, while top property management companies WILL help you no matter what. If we don’t know the answers to your questions, we will find someone who does; our goal is to make you happy and to increase your revenue. Here are a few FAQ and their answers. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions you don’t see answered here.
- How many times a year can I use my home? How often do you want to use it? It is your house and as long as it isn’t already being rented out, you are free to use it. We suggest you get with us in advance to let us know the dates you want to use it, though – and remember; the more you stay there, the less money it will make you.
- What happens if there is a large repair needed? We are on it immediately. We pride ourselves on hiring top notch maintenance and cleaning staff, and as such, we stay on top of all maintenance matters. We do, however, acknowledge that things happen, and if you do end up having 3 maintenance issues in a year’s’ time period that add up to $750 or more, we will give you $1000 dollars – just because we care about all the trouble you are going through. Do you know another vacation rental property manager who will do that for you?
- Do I need to clean my house myself? If you are hiring a vacation property management company, the answer to that is a loud, resounding NO! When you hire Panama City Beach Luxury Properties, we clean the house before and after your guests arrive. And each week, 2 days after the guests arrive, we ask them to rate their housekeeping experience. We keep track of the issues that may arise in these surveys and make changes accordingly. How else can we improve if we don’t ask? By the way, our scores on this survey almost always equal to 3 stars out of 5 – and we strive to continually do better!
Should I get a Vacation Property Management Company?
We think it would be detrimental if you didn’t hire a vacation property management company, and of COURSE, we recommend Panama City Beach Luxury Properties as the one you should hire! But even if you don’t feel we are a perfect fit for your needs, you should definitely hire someone. Top Property management companies consistently bring in higher revenues, maintain the homes so you can get the higher rental rates, and basically take care of all the day to day headaches that can arise. Why should you spend any time worrying about this stuff when you can pay a company to worry for you? PCBLP is customer service based and we will take care of the advertising, the collecting of moneys, the cleaning, the maintenance…we even keep up with the rental market data so you have higher occupancy rates and garner higher rents. The real question here is why haven’t you hired a vacation property management company sooner?
